While she previously defended her late Glee co-star against hate, now, Heather Morris, returned to her platform to apologize for her comments. As it turns out, she has realized why what she said seemed so ‘insensitive’ to many of the show’s fans.

That being said, the actress released a statement in which she expressed regret over standing up for Mark Salling so strongly not too long ago.

She wrote: ‘To all those who felt triggered by my message, I really want to sincerely apologize for the harm that I caused. Whether you, a friend, or a family member has ever been a victim of pedophilia, I realize that my words may’ve been insensitive to your experience and for that I cannot express enough how sorry I am.’

This comes after the Glee star previously reacted to some negative comments about Mark, who killed himself a couple of years ago after being caught with a collection of illegal child content on his devices.

Making reference to the other two Glee cast members who have sadly lost their lives, she argued that ‘We did not lose just two cast members, we lost three. And it’s SO incredibly tough to have to act like that third one is invisible, cause even though his actions are unjustifiable, he was still a part of our family at a point and he was mentally SICK.’

The actress then called people out for treating her ‘with such disrespect and such unkindness during a time when I can’t get through one day without balling my eyes out at the loss of my whole Glee family.’
