Lisa Vanderpump is excited to return to work after she quit ”RHOBH’ in June 2019. As she prepares to film her new ‘Vanderpump Dogs’ show, Hollywoodlife has learned how she feels about her former Beverly Hills costars.
It’s been a year of change for Lisa Vanderpump, who quit The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after nine seasons in June, and announced the devastating loss of her beloved dog, Giggy on December 13. As LVP continues to grieve, she’s also focused on getting back to work. While she won’t be filming with the women of Beverly Hills, HollywoodLife has learned that Lisa is excited for what’s to come from her Vanderpump Dogs brand.
“Lisa will begin filming her Vanderpump Dogs show before the year’s end and she can’t wait. She’s really looking forward to getting back to work,” a source close to the LVP said about her new Bravo gig, adding that the show will feature “all new faces.” Peacock, which is NBC’s new streaming platform (NBC owns Bravo), confirmed the Vanderpump Rules spinoff in July. The news came just one month after her departure from RHOBH.
“She never thought Vanderpump Rules wouldn’t be back (in light of the recent firings and departures from notable names on the show) and she seems to be missing filming [the new season],” the source revealed. “You could say she misses RHOBH, because she wants to be working, but she doesn’t miss the ladies. She misses being on a show though.”
Fans of the hit Beverly Hills franchise know that Lisa quit the show following the infamous storyline, “Puppygate,” which involved her Vanderpump Dogs adoption center to a certain degree. Puppygate emerged when Dorit Kemsley adopted a dog from her Vanderpump Dogs, and the somehow the pup ended up being put in a shelter. The situation was later leaked to the press, which led to the women fighting over who spilled the tea. As a result, Lisa feuded with the cast, and the rest is history.
